Randy Expressing Concern at Record Tax Increases Included in Governor's Budget
Randy believes that government should have to live within its means,

tight. Gov. Doyle should not be trying to fix his own past budget
mistakes on the backs of working families and struggling employers.

Randy's Reaction to the Governor's Budget Message
Raising taxes in the middle of a recession is reckless and will hurt families and struggling employers.
Randy opposing Democratic Efforts to Tighten the Credit Markets in the Middle of Our Economic Crisis
Randy believes that the key to fixing our economy is getting lending
institutions to start making loans to home buyers and employers. The
Democrat's plan will make this less likely and make the recession last

Randy Arguing on the Senate Floor Against the Practice of Allowing Secret Paper Ballots for Committee Votes
Under senate rules adopted by majority Democrats this session, Senators
no longer are required to cast committee votes in public. Randy
believes he was sent here to stand up for his constituents, not hide
from them.
